Its a neat concept. The gel pen fits securely into the bottom of the toothbrush. You first brush your teeth and then you get the gel pen and turn the dial at the bottom of the pen and then apply it to your teeth. There's no rinsing needed. Its quick and easy to use and you can use it everyday.
The toothbrush has rubber like nubs inside the bristles (see pic) and they seem to work to polish your teeth. The gel in the pen tastes pleasant, like cool mint. I'm glad it doesn't have a funny taste that makes you want to gag. It left my mouth feeling extra clean and fresh. I did notice my teeth getting whiter after 2 days. (I used it twice a day)
I've seen these at Target for $13 for the set. They also had the toothbrush alone but didn't see any gel pen refills for the toothbrush. Maybe that will come out soon?
